EINAR G. CARLSON
AGE: 90 MANCHESTER
Einar G. Carlson, 90, of Manchester died Monday June 28, 2010 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. He worked as a product specialist for Atlas Supply Co, Springfield for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Born in Sweden, he resided in Bloomfield for 27 years before moving to Manchester in 1981. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manchester, and a Past Commander of the American Legion Post #22 in West Orange. He was a member of the Leisure Knoll Golf Club, Organ Club and Manchester Deborah.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Janet Hanretty Carlson; son, Robert E of East Windsor, daughters, Joan Carlson of Yonkers, NY, & Elaine & husband John Murray of Hanover, MA; brother, Earl of East Hanover, sister, Inga Collinson of Toms River and 2 grandchildren, Patrick and Chris Murray.
Visitation is Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Services are Friday 9:30 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, North Hanover.
