Enrico Festa Obituary
AGE: 86 • Cumming, GA
Enrico F. (Rick) Festa of Cumming, GA died on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at the age of 86. Rick was born in Elizabeth, NJ, son of Felix and Carmella Festa. Rick served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1951. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy M. Festa. He is also survived by his daughter, Margaret Rose Festa; sons, Philip Festa and Richard Festa; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rick has two surviving brothers, Tony and Vito and is joined in heaven with his brothers, Sam and Philip.
Rick was a loving and giving man who sincerely believed that nothing is more important than family. He loved to bowl, watch his beloved Yankees and NY Giants and sit down to a big Italian dinner with his family. During his lifetime, Rick lived most of his life in New Jersey in the cities of Elizabeth, Roselle Park, Clark, Garwood and Brick Township. He retired to Cape Coral, FL in 1989 and later moved to north Georgia to be close to his family. We will all miss him so. A service for Rick will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at Byars Funeral Home, Cumming, GA.
