Gary Kish

Spotswood - Gary Kish died on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 72.

Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Somerset before moving to Spotswood in 1984.

Mr. Kish was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1964-1968.

Prior to retiring in 2006, he was a carpet and tile installer for Local 251, Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters in Edison, where he worked for 36 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 253 in Spotswood, Knights of Columbus in Spotswood, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in South Brunswick.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Pamela Siemons Kish; two sons, Daniel Kish and his wife, Andrea, of Riverview, FL, and Eric Kish of Spotswood; a brother, Kevin Kish, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and two sisters, Maureen Smolinksi and her husband, Henry, of South Amboy and Sharon Camperlengo of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 12/28, 10:00 AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by interment at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, 12/27, from 5-8 PM. For directions to the funeral home please visit www.brunswickmemorialhome.com

Gary was a good friend and great father. I remember him and Kevin and Donnie while working on the Queen Elizabeth 2 in drydock in Bayonne. Laughed and had fun then and many other times afterwards. He will be missed. Please accept my condolences R.I.P. Gary.
