I met Hazel in the early summer of 1984, around midnight, in the basement of MRMC (the main lab). I was making the switch from days Blood Bank to nite shift generalist. I had a lot to learn. Hazel with her trademark energy, passion and flair schooled me. She had enormous knowledge, skill and speed, she was a great tech. I learned much more from her then just lab work. I was and remain grateful for her friendship and love to me. The Lord used her to change me. I will always have much love in my heart for this great lady. Rest in peace dear sister.

In your hour of pain and grief may the unseen hand of God strengthen and comfort you. I worked with Hazel for 25 years at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and found her to be a very hard worker. She will be greatly missed. She always baked cakes for my dad. And he loved them. To her children the I will continue to pray for you.
