Davis Family,
I would like to extend my condolences to you for the loss of your beloved father and husband. I will always remember Rev. Davis bright big smile and how he used to call me my sister and I little Kem and little Monique. I have very fond memories of growing up in St. Paul Baptist church and Rev. Davis and his family. No matter how many years went past I was always Little Monique to him. Rev. Davis performed my baptism in 1989 and I still have my Bible. I hope you find solace in the amazing legacy he left, all the lives he touched, stories he told and memories you've made. Not only did he have a big smile, he had an equally bigger heart. He will be missed tremendously. I am sure that when he reached the pearly gate, the Lord was smiling back at him welcoming him with open arms saying "Well done, my good and faithful servant, well done". Rest well Rev. Davis !
Love,
Monique Cranshaw- Sanders (Sister Margaret Pitts grand daughter)

To The Davis Family,
My sympathy on the loss of your well-regarded patriarch. I'm not sure how long ago (many years) I learned of Dr. Davis, but it was always great to see him. He was always dressed to impress, jovial and certainly a man of God. His blessings usually started with God of our weary years.... And his signature utterance will be missed, although at times it startled me. :) Thank you for all that you did to serve the Lord and your community while raising successful children. Take your rest Dr. Rev. Henry P. Davis Jr.

One of the most beautiful brothers in Christ that I have ever had the pleasure and honor of knowing. Even though I only knew him for a short time he had a profound and a great impact on my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. He treated me like he knew me all his life and greatly demonstrated to me what the love of Christ looked like. I will miss him dearly, but know I will see him again in glory in our Father’s Kingdom. Well done good and faithful servant. Love Deacon James Higgins Shiloh Baptist Church Manasquan NJ.
