I worked with Jim for many years at BMS. What a great guy!! Jim couldn't do enough for you. I remember the crazy names he thought of for people, always good for a laugh, always a smile on his face. I'll always remember the story of the time he walked his dogs & he and the dogs were stampeded by deer. I still laugh when I think of him telling that one. Last time I saw Jim he was with his dogs in Red Bank. I can't believe he's gone - way too soon. I guess it's true, "only the good die young." My condolences to his family & friends. RIP Jim. You'll always be remembered fondly.

JP and I were at Shrewsbury Grammar School from day one until graduation from RBRHS. He was a kind person---I remember his smiling face and rosy cheeks and a particular joyousness in his twinkling eyes. I was sorry to read of his passing and my thoughts go to his family. Ann (Kezer) Lazarus-Barnes

My name is Linda Edwards and I worked with Jim Acerra for many years from 2001 until 2008. Jim was a kind and gentle man who worked diligently with his employees at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He was one of the hardest working gentleman I have ever known who would give you the shirt off of his back if he had too. Jim will surely be missed.

My condolences for your loss.
I worked with Jim at BMS for a few years. He was always friendly and helpful. We also shared some common ground with Syracuse University sports. I believe he played for the football team for a season or two before transferring to Lemoyne. He will be missed.
