Jerry Stark

AGE: 50 • Spotswood

Jerry Stark, 50, entered into eternal life on November 6, 2013. Jerry was born in South Amboy, the youngest of 12 children. He resided in Old Bridge for most of his life and spent several years in Florida before moving to Spotswood 15 years ago.

Jerry was a NY Giants fan and an avid fisherman. He proudly served his country in the Army during peace time. Jerry labored as a carpenter, a car and house painter, a painter at Walt Disney World and as a maintenance worker for the Monroe Twp. Board of Education. He had many talents and was a perfectionist in all his endeavors. His talents will be missed by many.

Jerry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth and Lawrence Stark and Anna and Arthur Esser, parents, Anna and John Henry Stark, brothers: John Henry Stark, Jr. Leroy Stark, and a sister-in-law, Rosemarie Stark.

Jerry left behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Sunshine Pearn, 2 grandsons: Isaiah and Elijah Johnston of Monroe Twp., four sisters: Bette Rappa and her husband Louis, of Orlando, FL., Joyce Eamello and her husband Harold of Jamesburg, Doris Shahinian and her husband Michael of Toms River, Alice Stark of Spotswood, sister in law, Carolyn Stark of Robertsville, 5 brothers: Douglas Stark of Monroe Twp., Albert Stark and his wife Jackie of Jackson, Randy Stark of North Brunswick, Wayne Stark and his wife Denise of Monroe Twp., Arthur Stark and his wife Patricia of Alabama and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, who all loved and adored their funny and always helpful "Uncle Jer". Jerry also left behind his extended family at the Spotswood Knights of Columbus. Jerry's happy memories will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 10, 2013 from 1:00-4:30pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home - 205 Rhode Hall Rd - Monroe Twp. A service will begin at 4:30 at the conclusion of the visitation. Cremation is private. For further information please visit www.demarcofuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Spotswood Knights of Columbus - Cresent Ave. Spotswood, NJ.
