John B. Catalano

AGE: 85 • Berkeley Township

John B. Catalano, 85, of the Holiday City Heights section of Berkeley Twsp., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was born in Lodi, he lived in East Hanover and Newark before moving to Holiday City Heights in 1989. John was the Manager with Acme in East Orange for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Charles P. Catalano and Mildred (De Capua) Catalano; and also his sister, Geraldine "Gerri" Catalano. Surviving is his brother, Charles Catalano and his wife Ann of Toms River.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Berkeley Twsp. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
