John P. Keller

AGE: 78 • Whiting

John P. Keller, 78, Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. John was born Feb. 25, 1934 in West New York, NJ and moved to Ocean County in 1970. He married Arlene Ballis on Nov. 26, 1955. They have enjoyed 56 years of happiness together. John was a loyal and devout Minister of Jehovah's Witnesses for the last 54 years. He was a member of the Toms River South Congregation, where he was well-respected and dearly loved by so many as a most kind and loving shepherd. He was known to all for his loving concern, but especially toward the sick. His humor was well-known and helped so many to keep going.

He was so deeply loved as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be genuinely missed by his best friend and beloved wife, Arlene; daughters, Karen Davis and husband Jud, and Lori LaRocco and husband Bob; sons, Kevin Keller, and Brian Keller and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Jessica Herman, Nicole Davis, Stone Keller, and Jada Keller; and 5 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Scott.

Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Bayville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 124 Hickory Lane, Bayville.
