I can still hear Johnny Cash and still smell the cigars-that was a typical saturday; laying out on the lawn chair enjoying the sun on Woerner Court...I loved my days growing up with you and your parents and miss them and you all very much. I thank God everyday for the gift of our childhood made possible by our parents!
My thoughts and prayers our with you all,
Margaret Hahn Muckin

Your father was my dad's best friend for 75 years. They grew up together and shared going to New York, baseball games and shows. He was my father's best man at his wedding. After our mothers passed away, they reunited and watched ball games together and went out to eat. Their reunion continued with an unexpected hospital stay a few years ago. The same ailment, the same hospital, the same surgeon, the same time-talk about friendship!
I got to know your father and I must say, my dad knew how to pick a buddy. Loyal to God, family, country and friends-hard working and a true gentleman, your father was a wonderful man. He defined what Tom Brokow called "The Greatest Generation."
My wife Shelly and I are truly sorry for your loss. Your father and your families are in our prayers.
