On hearing of Kevin's untimely passing, I was reminded that they say the good die young. Having gotten to know Kevin, and having heard about Kevin's life from his Uncle Glenn, I'd say that applies. Kevin was always an adventurer. Join me in wishing Kevin all the best on his latest adventure - into the infinite.

After far too many years, Kevin and I caught up with one another recently on Facebook. He seemed very happy and was so excited that he got to see the All Star Game at Yankee Stadium. I am glad we had that last chance to say Hi. He will be missed by Nuala, Steven and I.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
