Lester Collison Obituary
AGE: 82 • Middletown
Lester S. Collison, 82, of Middletown, NJ, died Friday, August 5, 2011 in Shrewsbury, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Schenevus, NY and became a lifelong resident of Middletown in 1964. Lester is a retired Iron worker and worked for Elizabeth Steel. He was an avid baseball and Yankee's fan. Lester was present in his children's lives; he coached baseball, and was active in the local community. Also, in his free time he enjoyed woodworking, and, as he got older, enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He was a family oriented man and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his, 2 sons, Steve Collison and Joe and his wife Eileen Collison; 2 daughters, Terri Buonano and Patti and her husband Frank McNamee; 2 sisters, Ida, Harriet; brother, Bill; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Lester was preceded in death by, 2 sisters, Eunice and Janet.
Visitation will be held Monday August 8, 2011 from 3 pm to 7 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for 6:30 pm at the funeral home. For more information, to send condolences or for directions, please visit www.pflegerfh.com.
