Lonnie S. Ketchie

AGE: 81 • Jackson

Lonnie S. Ketchie, 81, of Jackson, NJ died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at home. Born in East Spencer, NC, he lived in Rockaway Beach, NY before moving to Jackson in 1967. Mr. Ketchie served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was the Owner and Operator of LK Plumbing & Heating in Jackson, NJ for over 30 years. He was a parishioner with St. Monica's RC Church, Jackson, NJ. He enjoyed riding his Motorcycle in his spare time. He had a love for gardening and also enjoyed camping and radio controlled model air planes.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia (Cristella); one son, Steven and his wife Nancy of Howell, NJ; two daughters, Linda Mills and her husband Bruce and Karen Barnard and her husband Jeff all of Jackson, NJ; one brother, Evert Ketchie and one sister, Frances Ritchie both of North Carolina; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 705 Brewers Bridge Road, Jackson, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, May 18, 2012, 11:30am at St. Monica's RC Church, Jackson, NJ. Burial will follow to Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
