My condolences to his family. He was a sweet, gentle giant, who would clear out the the big lineman,so that the 120 lb linebacker (that played behind him), could make a tackle.I kept up with him and his brother Polly via Larry Sorcher. He will be missed.

An Angel whispered
take my hand and
come with me
your work here is done.

I went away to a place
where there's no tears, nor sorrow
only laughter and smiles,
there will always be a Tomorrow.

As I move amongst the clouds.
I'll look down and smile upon you,
while the angels
sing a heavenly song.

I am not alone
all who went before
are here
they awaited my return.

I know you'll grieve
and wish I was still here
I am here in the memories
you hold dear.

Remember how much I
love you
and know I took your
love with me.

I did not wish for
you to cry, nor feel sad.
My pain is gone and
I am Free!

Soon you'll come to me
until then
God will be with you
Just as He's with me.

We were sadden to hear about the death of Lorenzo. Lorenzo was great guy with a big heart. He encouraged and helped our children in many of their endeavors. When Lorenzo and Tillie visited their daughter, Sherri, at Longwood University, we were always happy to see Uncle Ren and Aunt Tillie and Sherri. Keeping looking unto the hills and God will continue to shower down blessings on you and the family. In time,Heavenly Father will give peace and comfort to a broken and sad heart.

What a life he lived dedicated and determined just like his parents and the rest of his family. He like his entire family craved out a never ending success story there in the Freehold/Englishtown area, knowing them and watching them thrive despite the many social obstacles at that time continues to be an inspiration to all. My family and I were proud to be a part of their journey as we were part of it too. I want to thank the Stanford family for their consistent leadership and contributions to society, Lorenzo reflected that throughout his life.
