Marie C. (Barlok) Menges Sembler, 86, of Union Beach, passed away, Saturday Aug. 7, 2010. Born in Whitney PA, she lived in Union Beach and DeBarry FL, moving back to Union Beach 2 ½ years ago. Marie was a communicant of St. Catherines RC Church, Middletown; a member of the Union Beach Fire Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Holy Family Altar Rosary Society.
Marie was predeceased by her beloved 1st husband, Raymond Menges in 1983; her beloved 2nd husband, Joseph Sembler in 2007; and 11 dear brothers and sisters. Surviving are her loving children, Raymond Menges and his wife, Mary of Tinton Falls, Carol Marotta and her husband, Thomas of Barry, FL, Kathleen McGrogan and her husband, James of Union Beach, Edward Menges and his wife, Vickie of Tuscan, AZ, Gale Greig of Sussex, David Menges and his wife, Margaret of Holmdel, Robert Menges and his wife, Colleen of Union Beach, Louis Menges and his wife, Carol of Holmdel; a dear brother, Joseph Barlok and his wife, Madeline of Barnegat; 17 cherished grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and ten stepchildren.
Family and friends are invited Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport; and Wednesday, TBA at the funeral home, with a TBA Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine's RC Church, Middletown.
