Martin Tobin Obituary
Toms River
Martin F. Tobin of Toms River died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. For over 50 years he was the owner of the family trucking company, Tobin Trucking, Kearny. Mr. Tobin was a World War II veteran serving in the Army and a parishioner of St. Joseph R. C. Church, Toms River. He loved the ocean and traveling throughout the country. Born in Newark, he lived most of his life in Kearny before retiring to Toms River in 1996.
He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Catherine; his sister, Elizabeth Mills and his brother, Edward. Surviving are his wife, Valerie; daughters, Sheila Pallotti and her husband Edward, Teresa Silvestri and her husband Robert; stepchildren, Christian Napolitano and his wife Bonnie, the Honorable Barbara Bellis and her husband Stephen, Laura Fogarty and her husband Keith; 4 grandchildren, Eric Pallotti, Jennifer Grober and her husband Bryant, Brock Silvestri and his wife Jenna, and Cortney Silvestri; 2 great grandchildren, Kaylee and Brendan Grober, also surviving are 8 step grandchildren and his 3 siblings Jacqueline Biorn, John Tobin and Sharon Rago.
Visiting will be Friday from 10 am to 11 am at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 am Friday at St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in his memory to your favorite charity.

I will never forget my Uncle Marty! He was my father's bowling partner, every wednesday night in Harrison, N.J.
He, Terry and Bob were there for me when I lost my mother, Gloria. I will never forget how they helped me through those dark times. I will never forget my UNcle Marty!!! Uncle Marty, I love you and will always pray for you.
