AGE: 56 • Forked River
Mary K DeLucia (nee Finnegan), age 56 of Forked River, Passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home. She was born in New York and was formerly of Old Bridge before moving to Forked River. Mary had worked for the Ocean County Library System for 15 Years. She was a devoted mother whom cherished her family dearly.
Mrs. DeLucia is survived by her Husband Sal of 37 Years, three children Joey and his wife Jessica, Erin, and Jim, her father Ed Finnegan, three grandchildren Ben, Ava, and Jackson. She is also survived by three brothers Kevin, Bryan and Brendan.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 4 until time of service at 6pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777

I am so sorry to hear about Mary. I first worked with her at the Lacey Library & then later in Toms River. I loved her sense of humor. I remember laughing with her on many, many occasions. Please accept my condolences, Erin & family.

We are so shocked and saddened to learn of the loss of your dear sweet Mary. We've known Mary for the past several years because she was part of the Wheeler Room Team who has always been such great supporters of the Ocean Co Genealogical Society. Mary was always a bright, cheerful and helpful person -- one of our many "OCL Angels" as we like to call them, who was always kind and sweet and oh so willing to help whenever or wherever she was needed.
