Michael Duncan Obituary
Atlanta, GA - Michael E. Duncan, 59 of Atlanta, GA, by way of Tinton Falls, passed away on July 8, 2019 in Atlanta. Michael was a gifted basketball player and athlete, known all over Monmouth County for his outstanding athletic abilities. Visitation will be Friday, July 19 from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 61 Cherry St., Tinton Falls. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. To the family my deepest sympathy and condolences .Michael Duncan was the big brother that I did have growing up in Tinton Falls. He was handsome, kind, friendly and aGreat basket ball player. He always had a smile on his face and was the protector from bully's in the neighborhood. Michael Was respected by everyone and would escort the girls thru the playing field in the community so we were not alone. Michael was a mentor and taught me my jumpshot, my playing performance greatly improved because of him. My fondestmemory of Michael was that he always wore the cleanest and whitest sneakers. When Michael walked across the athletic Field, it looked as if he was walking in his socks as they were always so bright. Michael, thank you for your kindness and help growing up in the neighborhood ...you were an amazing human being!
