Michael Golio Obituary
AGE: 86 • Middletown
Michael R. Golio Jr., 86, of Middletown passed away Sunday October 6th, 2013 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, Michael lived in the Bronx before moving to Middletown 20 years ago. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. He was a supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Dept. in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Michael loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and found great joy in talking about "God's Country," or Dobbs Ferry.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Michael Sr. and Raffaela Golio. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne Golio of Middletown; dear daughter, Dena O'Sullivan and her husband Kevin of Middletown; and cherished grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Emily and Jack.
Family and friends are invited Tuesday, October 8th, 2013, from 10AM -12:30PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
