Michiko "Michi" Kimura

Howell - Michiko Kimura, age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 19,2018, at her home in Howell. Born in Long Beach, California, Michi, as she was known to family and friends, grew up in Lakewood and had been a resident of Colts Neck for 40 years before retiring to Las Vegas, NV where she lived for 13 years. She moved to Howell 2 years ago.

Michi was a 1957 graduate of Lakewood High School. She went on to become a hairdresser, working for many years in Lakewood, the latest at Dante Salon.

She enjoyed jewelry making, going to the casinos and shopping.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Kay Kimura, and her special friends, Kathy and Raymond Wolf, Linda Smith, Tiffany Campbell and the entire Chesnut clan.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick with a service being held at 3:30 p.m. Cremation was private.
