Nancy Blom Obituary
AGE: 65 • Eatontown
Nancy Jeanne Blom, age 65 of Eatontown, died Thursday December 4, 2014. Born in Chester, PA she moved to Eatontown 41 years ago. She was the Coordinator for Medical Education at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch for 34 years before retiring in 2014. Mrs. Blom was also a member of the Institutional Research Board at Monmouth Medical Center for many years and Tower Hill Presbyterian Church in Red Bank.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sandra McNavish. Surviving are her husband, Robert Blom; a son, Thomas Blom and his wife Beth Freis-Blom of Metuchen; a brother, Thomas Clugh of Dauphin, PA; two sisters, Karen Moist of Dayton, OH and Christine Buerk of Hummelstown, PA; and three grandsons, Joshua, Kyle and Jacob.
There will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Nancy's Funeral Service at 1:30 pm on Tuesday December 9, 2014 at Tower Hill Presbyterian Church, 255 Harding Rd. in Red Bank. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Rt. 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
