Nancy Russo Obituary
AGE: 96 • Toms River
Nancy Russo, 96, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully in her home on February 25th. She was born May 11th 1919 in Angri, Naples, Italy and came to America with her family just five years later.
Nancy grew up in Hoboken, NJ where she met and married her childhood sweetheart Anthony Russo. She and her husband later moved to the Monmouth County area, where they raised three beautiful children. Nancy will forever be remembered by her friends and family for her deep faith in God, as evidenced by her pilgrimage back to Hoboken every year, for 80 years to attend the Feast of St. Ann. She loved to cook and garden, loved passing on the lessons she learned in life and most of all loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her deeply.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband Anthony, her son Michael and her grandson Mario. Surviving are her daughter Anna Maria Lapre and her life partner Debra, son Anthony Russo and his life partner Terrie. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jennifer Russo-Ryan (husband Law), Lyn Russo-Bednarowski (husband Bill), Anthony Russo Jr., Jamie Lynn Russo, Ryan Linder and great grandchildren Anthony Russo and Aidan Ryan.
Visitation will be held at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd., Middletown, NJ on Sunday March 1st from 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Chapel in Middletown, on Monday, March 2nd at 10:30AM, followed by interment services in Toms River, at Ocean County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please send prayers and Mass cards. If you wish you can make a donation to your local Hospice Organization.

Dear Anna, Tony and Family, For ten years we were neighbors on East Road and spent several of those years travelling to the all night vigils of Our Lady's Blue Army.
