Peter Lazarakis Obituary
AGE: 90 • Brielle
Peter Lambros Lazarakis, 90, of Brielle died Wed.12/7 20 minutes after midnight. He passed peacefully with a nurse by his side. He was born in Lowell, Mass, and was a US World War II vet. Moved to the Jersey shore 1950.
He was part owner of what was Petersons Riviera Inn, Brick, New Jersey. He was a good man. He was helpful to many, he loved to hear what was going on with you. Had many friends, was pre-deceased by wife Helen and two children Gary and Sandy, survived by his son Mark who lived with him.
His ashes will be interned at the Brielle Cemetery in the spring with his wife and two children.
If you wish to make a donation in his name to your favorite charity please do so.
Service will be announced in the spring for his internment.

What a great boss and mentor. So many fond memories with Skinny Pete calling me "curly" and teaching me everything needed to know about the "raw bar" - I still use his shrimp boil recipe. My sincerest condolonces to his family. Rest in Peace Skinny Pete!

Worked with "Skinny Pete" years ago in Peterson's, the great memories I will carry with me of him and his cap and apron. Our bar crew was the best, Mr Billerman, Sandy, Mary, Packey and of course Bess
