Rebecca Walling Obituary
AGE: 28 • Howell
Rebecca Lynn Walling, 28, of Howell Township passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Rebecca was born in Neptune and was a lifelong Howell resident. Born with Trisomey 9/18, she loved spending her days with her friends at the Ladacin Adult Program, Lakewood, for the last 23 years.
Rebecca was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Truesdell; her maternal step grandfather, Lloyd Weniger; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Doris Walling; and an uncle, Greg Walling. She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Kim Walling; maternal grandmother, Jacquelin Weniger of Brick; aunts, Judy Gassner and her husband, Robert of Wall, Laura Becker and her husband, William of Howell; Susan Jablonski and her husband, Joseph of Freehold, Sarah Butala and her husband, Thomas of Brick, and Mary Noraas and her husband, Andy of Virginia; uncles, Wayne Walling and his wife, Joan of Howell, Thomas Walling and his wife, Cathy of Pennsylvania, Brian Walling and his wife, Carol of Howell, Dennis Walling and his wife, Teresa of Virginia, and Mark Walling of Howell; and many cousins.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Thursday, April 5, 2012. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold. For those who desire, memorial contributions in memory of Rebecca may be made to The Ladacin Network Inc., 1703 Keeley Blvd., Wanamassa, NJ 07712. I'm so sorry to read about your loss. I was a social worker who came to your home many years ago when Becky was entering preschool. I remember at the time knowing that she was blessed to have you two as parents. All three of you are in my thoughts and prayers, now and always.
