AGE: 65 • Parlin

Robert A. Clack age 65 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Britten, Connecticut he has resided in Parlin for the past 36 years.

Before his retirement he was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Robert was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1966 through 1972 being discharged as a Sergeant.

He is predeceased by his father Alvis S. Clack Jr. Surviving is his wife of 36 years Linda Petzel Clack, his children Jarrod Clack of Sayreville and Ashley Clack of Parlin, his mother Aldona Clack, his brother Alvis S. Clack II and his wife Lea and his niece Andrea.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:45 am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com

Another year has come and gone and I miss you so much. Jameson made his Holy Communion and has turned into a great dancer and is doing theatre singing and dancing such a superstar Remember all those dance competitions we have such a great time ...Gavin is growing so fast and has a personality all his own . I know you would love them as much as I do . It´s so fun that they have the same birthday ...Ashley is going to have her own dance studio soon and Jarrod´s business is a huge success . Another year has come and gone but my love for you is forever .Jarrod and Ashley have grown into 2 awesome adults that make me proud every day to be their Mom . Our grandsons Jameson Robert and Gavin are the light of my life . Every day I wish you were here with us to enjoy them . Gianna our granddaughter is growing up way to fast and staring high school in the fall . I'm always missing you. I wish you were still here so that we could enjoy all the things we used to enjoy together like sitting by the fire drinking beers. You probably wouldn't like the beer that I'm drinking now but I know you'd at least give it a try. So much has changed since you've been gone but I'm sure you know everything that's been going on. Jameson is getting big and I still have to bring your other grandson to you. I can't wait until he's old enough to learn about his grandfather. We miss you so much here. I miss you more than words can say . So many awesome things have happened Jarrod married a wonderful woman named Jonise and her beautiful daughter Gianna and the best news of all they are expecting a baby son to be born in July Ashley is doing great and Jameson is growing so fast and brings do much joy to my life you would love him .He has so many of your little moments like you are whispering in his ears to let us know you are here in spirit . It is so very hard to imagine our family without you it's been six years today but sometimes it feels like only yesterday ....We have the most wonderful grandson and he makes me smile everyday I know he would be your special little boy too !! I feel like it's been so long since I've seen you and yet it's only going on 4 years. I miss you so much as always. Baby died recently. I hope that she found her way to you because she loved hanging out with you so much. Please find her and make her feel at home. It's been 2 years and I think about you every single day. I miss you so much and love you so much! It's really hard not having you around... On the bad days, but mostly on the good days when I'm doing so much and I just want you there to talk to you about it all!!! It seems like only yesterday you were taken away from us. The past two years have been very hard without you here and for every forward step there are always two steps back.
