I've known Bob for the majority of my life. He served in the Fire Department along with my father. I later served with him as one of his lieutenants.

I met Bob in 1976 when I was 16 years old . He was one of my mentors and one of the reasons I entered the fire service. He contributed greatly to the quality of life in Borough of Carteret. On behalf of the Mayor and Council and the citizens of Carteret I extend our deepest sympathy to his family and express our heartfelt thanks for his many years of service. Rest in peace brother.
