Robert Ellender Obituary
AGE: 66 • Manahawkin
Robert Alan Ellender, 66, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully July 16, 2013 in Philadelphia. A private ceremony was held for the family. The memorial service to celebrate Bobs life will be held on Saturday August 3rd at the Moose Lodge on Rt. 72.
Bob was born to the late Edgar and Katharine Ellender in Burlington county on April 4, 1947 and attendeded Moorestown high school, graduating in 1966. He served his country in the USAF from 1966-1973 and worked as an electrician for Perks Electric for over 25 years before establishing his own company of Aries Electric. He enjoyed music, making people laugh, spending time with his friends, and crabbing off of Dock Road. His greatest joy , however, was his sons: Andrew, Adam, and Robert.
He is survived by his brother, E. Roy (Ned) Ellender and sister-in- law Diane of Yarmouth Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Deborah Heart and Lung.
