Robert T. Jeffery

AGE: 90 • Lakewood

Robert Tuysuzian Jeffery, 90, of Lakewood, N.J., formerly of Springfield, N.J., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Pace University, in New York City. During WWII, he served in the Air Force. He then worked for RCA for 30 years and NBC for 15 years as a legal counsel for special sport and Olympic events.

Robert was a devoted husband to Margaret for 63 years and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Jeffery, of Brielle; his grandsons, Brian and Stephen; his great-granddaughter, Juliana, and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose Fryxell; his father, Charles, and his daughter, Cynthia Jeffery.

Robert led his life with remarkable intelligence, loyalty and grace, which made his family very proud. He was loved tremendously and will be missed sorely.

In accordance with Mr. Jeffery's wishes, all services are private.
