Robert McLeish Obituary
Hillsborough
66, passed away peacefully March 29, 2016.
Robert was born in England and was a lifelong resident of Somerville. He was employed as a machinist at Egan Machinery in Bridgewater for over 35 Years, retiring in 2003. He was a former communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. He was a member of the American Legion Post 12 in Somerville. In his spare time, he was an avid reader about history and enjoyed fishing. He will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving are his ex wife Florence Ford, three brothers Spencer, John and Frederick.
Services were private. Arrangements by the Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville.

I worked with Bob for about six years. We were right next to each other in the machine shop. We had many laughs inside and outside of work. When the company downsized the bunch of us went our separate ways.
Talking with Bob helped me with a problem I was having at the time. He helped me more than he could ever know.
Bob the memories I have bring a smile to my face. I hope your fishing in a nice trout stream. Until we meet again brother.
Don't forget to save me a seat.

Bob was a friend from Egan. Linda and I both knew him. We had many a great conversations and we always enjoyed his sense of humor.
