Robert Swan Obituary
AGE: 65 • Manchester
Robert Romaine Swan, Jr., 65 of Manchester, NJ passed away on Thursday April 16 at Capitol Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Robert was born in South Amboy and raised in Middletown. Robert was the owner and operator of The Filter Service, Wall for over 30 years retiring in 2008. After his retirement he was a substitute teacher for the Jackson Board of Education for 10 years.
Robert was predeceased by a sister Virginia Swan-Anthony in 1993.
He is survived by a devoted friend Patricia Swan and their son Robert of Jackson; a brother William Swan and his wife Denise of Middletown; four sisters Martha (Pat) Morgan of Winter Park, Fl., Margaret Swan of Brick, Elizabeth Swan of Hawaii and Katherine and Steve Poitinger of Ohio.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday April 19 from 2-5 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center 200 Trenton Road Browns Mills, NJ 08015. My sincere condolences to his family & friends. I am positive I worked with him at Electro Impulse in Neptune, NJ years ago. He was a great guys and will be missed, loved and remembered by many for his gentle nature and kind words to others. RIP Robert

Robert, I know God knew it was time for you to go but its always hard for the ones left behind. I will miss your friendship and I'm glad I was able to tell you how much I appreciated all you did for me before you left us. You made such a difference. Our time working together at Firestone and Massey Ferguson in Des Moines, IA. were highlights of my career. The jokes we played including "Mr. Wizard" were classics. I will miss you my friend, Rest in peace. Semper fi.
