Rose Marie Muir

AGE: 81 • Monroe Township

Rose Marie Muir, 81, died on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. Rose Marie was born in Hazelton, PA and resided in Newark and North Newark, NJ before moving to Monroe Township in 1997. Rose Marie was employed as a secretary for Public Service in Newark, NJ, RCA in Harrison, NJ and for Emerson Quiet and Cool, retiring in 1991.

Rose Marie was an active parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church. She was a member of the Sr. Social Club, After Hours Club and the Italian American Senior Social Club all of Greenbriar at Whittingham. She was also a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed playing bocce ball.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Helen (Mitchell) Zedalis, her husband, Thomas Muir, and her brother, Joseph Zedalis.

Rose Marie is survived by her brother, Ronald Zedalis and his wife Rosemary of Ohio and a sister-in-law, Jean Zedalis of Jackson, NJ. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday December 19, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at St. James the Less RC Church followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Rose Marie's name can be made to the Reformed Church Home www.reformedchurchhome.com or Caring Hospice of Edison, NJ - 1090 King Georges Post Road Suite 703 - Edison, NJ 08837.
