RoseAnne McCusker Obituary
Spring Lake
RoseAnne M. McCusker, of Spring Lake, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at home. Born in Bayonne, NJ, RoseAnne lived in Spring Lake and New York. She was a graduate of Holy Family Academy, Bayonne, NJ and earned her Master's Degree in history from Columbia. She was an executive for Exxon Corporation, New York, NY until her retirement. RoseAnne was a parishioner of St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake, NJ where she was a volunteer. She was a member of the Spring Lake Golf Club, and was a competitive golfer. She was also a member of the Preservation Alliance of Spring Lake, where she was a vital driving force behind renovations of the original First Aid Building, working closely with the Borough. RoseAnne was very interested and participated in all sports especially golf, tennis and running in the Spring Lake 5k until her health restricted her activities. RoseAnne was a staunch supporter of the Olympics.
RoseAnne was predeceased by her brothers Joseph McCusker and James McCusker. Surviving are her sister Cathleen McCusker of Spring Lake and New York, NY, 2 nieces and 2 nephews; Joseph McCusker of Bayonne, NJ, Annmarie Beckman of Bayonne, NJ, Barbara Weber of Springfield, NJ, and Richard McCusker of Springfield, NJ and many cousins.
Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, 11 AM at St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake. Burial will follow in St. Catharine's Cemetery, Wall. For more information or to send condolences please visit www.obrienfuneralhome.com. I had the pleasure of having Roseanne as one of my clients at the salon I work at in Spring Lake Hts. I will miss seeing her come through the doors in her adorable turtlenecks. My thoughts and prayers go out to her sister Catherine and the rest of her family and loved ones.RIP Roseanne
