AGE: 89 • Brick

Ruth H. Bernier, age 89, of Brick, NJ passed away at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born and raised in Jersey City, and lived in Lyndhurst until 1997 when she moved to Brick, NJ. Ruth loved spending time with her family and friends; she also enjoyed frequently dining at Burger King.

Ruth is pre deceased by her first husband. Vincent James Blanco, and her second husband Roger Bernier.

She is survived by her daughter Karen and her husband Michael of Brick, NJ; one brother, Richard Cochrane of Florida; four grandchildren, Tommy, Jimmy, Gina and Michael; two great grandchildren, T.J., and Frankie; she is also survived by her niece Beverly Devine, and many other nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral home service will be offered on Friday at 10 am, followed by an entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
