SCOTT PRICE
AGE: 46 WALL
Scott Price, 46, of Wall, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010. Born in Point Pleasant, Scott was a product of life at the beach. He was a true outdoorsman and loved all outdoor recreation, from hunting to fishing, surfing to diving. Scott loved nature and felt most at home out on the water. He had a great sense of humor and his personality (like his stature) was larger than life. Although his death has put a tear in our eye, his memory will forever bring a smile to our face and joy to our heart. We will miss you, Scotty.
Scott is predeceased by his parents, Anne and Winfield Scott Price Jr. He leaves his sisters, Leanne Price of Sea Girt, Caron Price of Lake Como, and Laurie Price of Neptune; and many loving family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, with a service to take place at 7:30 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's name are requested to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311. I found out last night about Scott's passing, too late to attend the public service, otherwise I would definitely been there. Scott and I were best friends for many years growing up in Sea Girt. We had some amazing adventures together, surfing, sailing and just general good times. He was a gentle giant of a man and he had the soul of a true waterman. I am sad that I failed to reconnect with him now that we are adults. I am sure we would be the best of friends once again. Nothing will make his passing easier for his family but maybe some of the old memories from the Sea Girt days will bring a smile to their faces even on the darkest of days. I'll miss you old friend, we will meet again someday.
..and to to his sisters, if there is anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to contact me.
