STEVEN GEORGE LUCISANO
AGE: 33 WEST KEANSBURG
Steven George Lucisano, 33, of West Keansburg passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009. He was born in Red Bank and was a citizen of both Keansburg and West Keansburg for 33 years. He was a graduate of Raritan High School in Hazlet. After graduating Steven immersed himself in his family business. He was a passionate cook who added his own special touch to the food and the atmosphere of the pizzeria. Steven was an avid fan of the NY Giants and the NY Mets; he watched every game (even if they were losing).
He is now reunited with his grandfather, George Koren and his aunt, Linda Koren. He leaves behind his loving parents, Steve and Donna Lucisano of West Keansburg; his sister, Dana Lucisano of West Keansburg; his grandmother, Doris Koren of West Keansburg; his cousin, Vallie Koren of Belford; his uncle and aunt, George and Darlene Koren of Toms River; cousins, Kristy, Nick and Andrew Koren of Toms River. Steven leaves behind some amazing friends that he cherished, most notably Steven Lapsley of Hazlet and Sean O'Brien of Keansburg, thank you both so much for loving him as much as we did. A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam and for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world but then it flies again And though we wish it could have stayed... We feel lucky to have seen it. We were all so lucky to have a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend like Steven.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 9:15 am at the Laurel Funeral Home 201 Laurel Ave. West Keansburg with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church Keansburg at 10:15am. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
