Thomas Mulligan

Little Silver

Thomas Mulligan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 5, 2012. He was residing in Albuquerque, NM since 2008, but called Little Silver, NJ his home for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine, who passed away in 2010 and by his first wife, Mary, who passed in 1971. He was the devoted father of Neil and Thomas Jr. and the beloved grandfather of Casey, Julia, Liv and Emma. Tom was the middle of three children and is survived by his sister Margaret Stone. He is predeceased by his older brother Joseph.

Tom was also blessed with many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He worked 43 years as an employee of the New York Times and proudly served his country during WWII.

Visitation services will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday, 1/11/12 at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass of Catholic burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday 1/12/12 at The Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Rd., Fair Haven. we were saddened to learn of the death of Tom Mulligan today and extend our deep sympathies to his children and family upon his loss. he was a wonderful and engaging man and our family always enjoyed his warm company. we know he will missed greatly by all.
