Thomas Triano Obituary
AGE: 73 • Howell
Thomas A. Triano, 73, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Newark, Thomas resided in South Plainfield before settling to Howell 27 years ago. He taught history in East Orange Catholic and Beard High School before lecturing for Rutgers University. He enjoyed playing mail in contests and won two cars through the games. He was also an accomplished chess player.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Maria "Becky" (Fernandez) Triano of Howell; two sons, Thomas J. Triano and girlfriend Donna Simmons of Howell and Michael C. Triano and wife Bonnie of Middletown. He will also be missed by his four grandchildren, Melody, Nicolas, Haley and Chloe.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Visitation will be held on Monday beginning at 9AM until the service. Interment will follow in Lake Nelson Cemetery, Piscataway.
