June Mary Palmer Triano, 83, wife of the late Michael Joseph Triano, passed away March 26, 2025.
A native of Sale, Manchester England, daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Palmer, she was known for her quick wit, a self-proclaimed "professional" bus driver in New York, and a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, The Red Hat Society, and The Golden Girls. June enjoyed spending time with her many friends, walking, knitting and crocheting, and beating her friends at Mahjong. The greatest joy and the love of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Gaetano Triano (Lena) of Poughkeepsie, New York, Michael Paul Triano (Tina Marie) of Poughquag, New York, and Pauline Triano Nichol (Joseph) of Landrum, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Ricky Jordan (Victoria), Kelli Jordan, Daniel Jordan (Samantha), Marianne Triano, Sarah Diggins, Isabella Nichol, Gabriel Nichol, Noah Nichol, and Anthony Triano (Macy); six great-grandchildren, Killian Jordan, Mila Triano, Lila Jordan, Daisey Jordan, Genevieve Jordan, and David Jordan; and a sister, Alice.
Mrs. Triano was predeceased by two brothers, Billy and Sammy and two sisters, Phyllis, and Joyce.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Greer Community Ministries- Meals on Wheels, PO Box 1373 Greer, South Carolina 29652.
