Lorene Trout Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late JA and Lettie Mae Emory Brannon, she was a graduate of Chapman High School, a retired pharmacy technician for Eckerd Drugs, and a member of Northwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are two children, Keith Trout (Cynthia) and their children, Sarah (Jeff), Elizabeth (Mark), and Adam (Ariane); and grandchildren, Dewey, Henson, Margaret, Griffin, Savannah, and Everett; and Cathy Strickert of Washington; a brother, Paul Brannon (Karen) of Greer, South Carolina; a nephew, Van Brannon (Kenna) and a niece, Paula Quinby (Dennis); along with cherished great nieces, Campbell (Eric) and Ella Kate; and nephews, Hudson and Braden; and a great-great niece, Brooks.
Mrs. Trout was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Brannon and Oneal Emory; a son-in-law, Bob Strickert; and sisters-in-law, Betty Brannon and Sandra Brannon.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Northwood Baptist Church, 888 Ansel School Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
