Patrick Moschetti Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial on Feb. 25, 2026.
Patrick Edward Moschetti

June 10, 1956-February 23, 2026

Patrick Edward Moschetti, a devoted family man, dedicated community volunteer, and lifelong baseball enthusiast, passed away at the age of 69 at his home in New Providence, New Jersey.

A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the New Providence Presbyterian Church in New Providence, NJ on Friday, March 6, 2026, beginning at 11:00am.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in New Milford, NJ, Pat received both his Bachelor's Degree and MBA from Rutgers University. He went on to build a distinguished 25 year career at Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies, retiring in 2001. He later worked as a corporate concierge for clients like L'Oréal, before retiring in 2022.

Pat was deeply involved in his community, serving as Fundraising Chair and Treasurer for the Community Service Association (CSA), as a member of the Summit Area Old Guard, and as a frequent donor and volunteer for the New York Blood Center-believing that donating his O negative blood was his superpower in providing support to others in need. When he wasn't volunteering, he could often be found on the court with the Pittsford bocce league, hosting trivia with his baseball club, or "solving the world's problems" in the sauna at The Fitness Factory.

Pat was a man of simple pleasures: a good book, a Yankee win, and the company of those he loved. But his greatest joy was his family. He was the beloved husband of Lori (Linkletter) Moschetti for 43 years; loving father of Amanda (Moschetti) Lennon and her husband Aaron, and Brian Moschetti and his wife Julia (Tomaro) Moschetti; dear brother of Joan Morris; uncle of Donna Alessio, Diana Morris, Kelli Bardi, and Rick McGarril; and brother in law of Beth McGarril.

His most cherished title, however, was "Gramps." He spent his happiest moments playing with his four grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Miles Lennon, Colette Moschetti, Nina Lennon, and Isla Moschetti.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Anna Moschetti.

If you feel so moved, in remembrance of Pat's generous spirit, the family gently suggests contributions to the Community Service Association (CSA) of New Providence. It was also Pat's wish that all consider the life giving gift of blood donation.
