AGE: 89 • Jackson Twp.
WILLIAM A. ARANEO, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at home. He was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Old Bridge, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp. over 10 years ago.
William was a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office, Old Bridge, NJ, retiring in 1992. More recently, he was employed for 10 years with Amboy Madison Bank, Old Bridge, NJ.
He was a United States Army Veteran and a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
William was a member of the Elks BPOE 2229, Old Bridge, NJ, where he was the Past Exalted Ruler.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Joseph and Columbia Araneo; and by his Daughter, Brenda Araneo-Paskitti. He is survived by his Son, William Araneo of Nyack, NY; his Daughter, Suzanne Araneo of Aberdeen, NJ; his 4 Grandchildren, Katie Woods of Jackson Twp., NJ, Austen Araneo of Nyack, NY, Robert Paskitti of Jackson, NJ, and Rachel Paskitti of Jackson, NJ; and by his Great Granddaughter, Natalia Woods of Jackson, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 9 AM-12 Noon followed by his Funeral Service at 12 Noon on Monday, March 13, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment will follow in Forest Green Cemetery, 535 Texas Rd., Morganville, NJ 07751. If so desired, contributions may be made in William's memory to the American Red Cross, PO Box 131, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724-0131 and would be greatly appreciated.
