William J. Cassano

AGE: 40 • Brick

William J. Cassano, 40, of Brick, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, from injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident. "Will" as he was affectionately known to all who knew and loved him, was born in Point Pleasant and had been a lifelong resident of Brick. He was previously employed as a truck driver for 17 years with H & D Rosetto, Seaside Park. Will was a graduate of Brick Memorial High School in the Class of 1990. He had many interests and passions in life, he loved to ride dirt bikes, he was an avid gardener and maintained a fish pond at his home, and had a love for animals.

He is survived by his beloved parents Louis and JoAnn Mudry Cassano of Brick, his sister Michelle Lewis and her fiancée Gerald Gobin both of Brick, his 2 brothers Damon and his wife Laura of Brick, Eric of Brick, his nieces and nephews Lauren, Elaine, Patrick, and Christopher, his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends and his best friend Bobby.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick followed by a Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Private committal will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723. I never knew Will, but from all of the comments and stories that I've been hearing and reading over the past few days,I can tell that he was one of a kind. All of his friends said that he had the ability to make people laugh, and was a kind,gentle soul who would be there when you needed him most.

Willie was such an amazing person. its crazy how you can see such a funny warm hearted person almost everyday you drive down your street and then they're gone. He was one of a kind i can't handle that he is gone that we can never talk to him again. He always made us laugh. We miss you so much
