Alexander Gomez Obituary
Alex Gomez, Jr., of Live Oak, CA, passed away on July 11, 2021. He was born August 28, 2000, in Yuba City, CA, to Colette Valenzuela and Alexander R. Gomez. He was a 2018 graduate of Live Oak Alternative High School in Live Oak, CA.
Alex attended Job Corps in Sacramento, CA, in 2019, where he graduated with certification in Cement Masonry. Alex was employed by the River Valley Care Center in Live Oak, CA.
We will always remember Alex for his loyalty and the way he protected the people that he loved. He had a good heart, filled with good intentions. He would do anything for a friend in need. A person you could count on. A quality of a true hearted man that is rare to find these days. He had so much love and adoration for his family and an enthusiasm for life and all of the joy it offers. Alex brought so much life, love and fond memories to his family and friends. He will be embedded in all of our hearts. Never forgotten.
Alex is survived by his mother, Colette Valenzuela of Live Oak, CA, and Alexander R. Gomez of Mexico; sister, Anissa Gomez of Live Oak, CA; brothers, Salvador Gomez of Gridley, CA, and Andrew Gomez of Burbank, CA,; grandmother, Martha Solorio of Live Oak, CA; uncles, Jeff Robinson of Gardendale, TX, and Carlos Lopez of Live Oak, CA; aunts, Rejina Jimenez of League City, TX, and Miriam Cardenas of Yuba County, CA; cousins, Jeff Robinson, Ariela Robinson, Savannah Lang, Scarlette Robinson, Kylie Bumpus, Rejina Clark, Brendyn Clark, Bella Jimenez, Jessica Gomez, Oscar Gomez, Adrianna Cardenas, David Cardenas, Celia Ugarte, and Aliyah Aguilar. Alex is also survived by his girlfriend, Karine Osaki; and his best friend James Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jessie Gomez; and his brother, Noel Gomez.
A private celebration of life will take place on August 5, 2021. If you would like to attend, please contact Colette Valenzuela for more details.
