Beverly Richter Obituary
Beverly Joanne Richter (Bev), 82 years of age, passed away August 29, 2017, in Marysville, Ca. Bev, as she was known to many, was born February 18th, 1935, to Charlie and Emma Larsen in Charles City, Iowa.
After a successful career as a nurse and raising her children, she moved on and help raise many children through her day care. She will always be known as Grandma Bev. When Bev retired, she found herself teaching ladies to knit at the Sew So Shop in Marysville, Ca. You could always find help with your projects along with a smile.
Her surviving family will miss her greatly. Randy and Cathy Richter (son and daughter in law) of Plumas Lake, Ca. Grandchildren; Ryan, Laura and Amy. Cathy and Steve Shepard (daughter and son in law) of Yuba City, Ca. Grandchildren; Erin, Brian and Kristen. Cindy Humlick and Bradley Harrison (daughter and son in law) of Yuba City, Ca. Grandchildren; Megan and Shelby. Three great-grandchildren, her fiancé, James Evans. Sisters; Phyllis First of Rapid City, SD, Avis Richter of Yuba City, Ca, and Bonnie McGowan of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie and Emma Larsen, her beloved husband Charles A. Richter Jr. (Sonny) and brothers; Chuck and Earl Larsen.
Services will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 6th, at 9am, with a viewing Tuesday, September 5th from 5pm to 7pm. Pastor Tim Craig will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, Ca.
In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in Bev's name to the Hospice of your choice, American Cancer Society, and Make A Wish Foundations.
