Gerald Allan McElroy is survived by his mother, Audrey McElroy; loving wife, Janice Elizabeth Rendon-McElroy; daughters, Trina Joy O'Bryan-Gibbs (Tim) and Trisha Anne O'Bryan; grandsons, Jeffrey Reed, Devin and Tyler Montarbo, Titus and Randy II Gibbs; step-granddaughters, Gabbi and Cristalynn Gibbs; sister, Laura Thomas (Chuck) and brother, James McElroy.
He will be loved and missed and forever in our hearts.

Dad... I still miss you EVERYDAY! Jeffrey met Rick the other day and called ro tell ne the story on how he was talking to a guy in his route and they were discussing Harleys... he begin to tell the guy about his grandfather getting hit by a bus and the guy stopped him and threw your name out.. Jeffrey was so shocked... the guy had been looking for you.... when he called me... my first reaction was to call and tell you... but i couldn't!!!!! It sucked so bad... it really hurt my heart... Jeffrey swears goin meeting your friend wad your doing...i believe that...i wish i could talk to you....i hear your messages on my phone all the time... but it isn't ther same.... i wish you were here! I love you and miss you with all my heart!!!!

its been so long and hard to belive...Jerry, I know you see, that mom will be joining you real soon...much as i hate to say good byes!

Dad, I haven't been able to let go. I know you are up above with Our Father enjoying everlasting life, but I miss you. I have so many memories that replay over and over in head... I laugh, I cry, I get mad... I'm selfish... I want you back! I feel like life is so unfair.... You were there for us when you didn't have to be... you chose to be. Today marks a week, and it still hurts just like it was yesterday, if not more. I wish I could change the outcome.. I wish you were still here... I k now I'm being selfish but I miss you Dad, so much! I Love you..... Trina
