Such fond memories. You guys were a part of my childhood and I will forever be grateful for the rides to and home from church. Appreciate the the sacrifice of time you made for us. Pray for Lord to bring much comfort and I know he will. Love, Vicky Harmon Meaglia

I remember JD so well as a child growing up in your church. Susie had - and I am sure still has - the voice of an angel. JD was full of humor, laughter, kindness and fun. You two together were a role model couple and your love always shined through. Thank you for the living the life God's way and letting all of us who came along during those many years be part of it.
lots of love

I met JD at 7-11 years ago. We became friends by running into each other at the 7-11 on Lincoln Rd. I hadn't seen him in years and I ran into him at a store in Oroville (maybe 2 months ago), and he gave me a big hug. I couldn't believe he remembered me. What an awesome man. I wish I had gotten to know him better. To his family: I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all of you..jn

Susie and family .. I am so sorry that I could not make the celebration service of JDs life. Mark and his wife Tami called to let me know what a beautiful service it was. He saw many people there that he hasn't seen in years. Sort of a reunion day.I know that JD is having his special reunion in heaven with all those who have gone on before. There must be a lot of shouting right now and wish we could hear the excitement of the homecoming. Love you Susie!

So sorry to read that JD has pass. I met JD years ago when he delivered to the 7-11 I was working at and then later when he delivered to my own 7-11. He was great as a person and really was graceful when he talked my. JD will be truly missed. So sorry to miss the service. My prayers are with you all.

I met JD in 1966, working teenager in a small grocery store where he came in to deliver, and while I left the next year to work elsewhere, I will never forget this happy and friendly man. He would have been around 27 then, and wish we could have ran into each other again. I am sure he touched all the people he met and I wish the family my thoughts and prayers losing a special man.

JD and Susie were like my parents. I practically lived at there house with my best friends Tammy and Trina for many years. Still visit when I come to CA. JD was a wonderful man. The Jackson family made a huge impact on my life and I thank God for them. May God comfort you all and give you strength and courage to face each day. Our time here is so short. Focus on eternity we will get to spend with JD. Thank you Jesus for our hope.

What a great guy, loved being with him and laughing. What a wonderful example of a Godly man. I was blessed to call him a friend.
