Jimmy Quick Obituary
Jimmy was born in Dunn, North Carolina, on August 8, 1938.
Jimmy was a gifted musician from a very early age and, after the death of his father, he began traveling as a musician to help provide for his family.
In 1958, he married Fern Gladden.
Jimmy went to school and became an accountant, working for various companies in different locations through the years before retiring and starting a tax practice.
After the death of his beloved Fern, Jimmy lived with family until his home going, enjoying visits from the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Renee (Ron Fortenberry); his son, Steve (Jeri Quick); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Moore, Justyn Fortenberry, Steve Quick, and Stacia Fukumoto; and his great-grandchildren, Haley Moore, Bryce Moore, Kaetlyn Moore, Elliot Fortenberry, Oliver Fortenberry, Owen Fortenberry, Sam Fukumoto, Charlotte Fukumoto, Felix Fukumoto and Levi Bowers.
At his request, there will be no services. ~Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, which held a special place in his heart.

I only briefly met uncle jimmy but he was so welcoming and loving to myself and his great niece , my daughter . Rest in peace
