John Rector Obituary
John M. Rector of Yuba City, CA, passed away July 19, 2017, at Rideout Hospital. He was born September 3, 1943, in Hannibal, MO, and was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 33 years.
He is survived by his brother, Guy R. Rector of Yuba City, CA; nephew Scott D. Rector (Willow) of San Pablo, CA; and great-nephew Zane Ellis-Rector of San Luis Obispo, CA. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Karen M. Rector.
John volunteered for many organizations over the years, which included Yuba-Sutter Mental Health Pre-vocational Program, the Salvation Army, and Gateway Projects, Inc.
A graveside service is planned for 10:00 am on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Sutter Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to The Fountains, Quality of Life Program, 1260 Williams Way, Yuba City, CA 95991.
