Thank you to Kamal's family for inviting us to her memorial and allowing us to sit with you during prayers. I was extremely saddened to read that she was no longer with us. I feel diminished by her passing. Her energy is no longer in human form, no longer available to give her one more hug and to let her know how treasured she was to me. Our last conversation was at a restaurant on the subject of spirituality. It was lovely to know that we were on the same page. The cousins spoke of her meditation practices and that told me we were still in tune. My heart goes out to all of you for your loss. Kamal was a very special person. It feels good to know that she was surrounded by such loving people and a loving community. As a counselor, she was always one of my favorites because of her positive and gentle nature. I also enjoy the out of doors and can only imagine how much she love being on hiking trails as described by her family member. I will always remember Kamal. Although I've not seen her in recent years due to my own circumstances, it was enough for me to know she was around sharing her joyful nature. Just knowing she was still among us gave me a sense of peace. I miss you already Kamal, may love and peace be with you. Namaste.

Still trying to process that the sweet, loving and caring Kamal is no longer amongst us. I have known here since I was 14 years old and stayed friends through high school, college and years after. Lost touch here and there but managed to keep up through social media, a few get together in Yuba City and random meetings in midtown Sacramento. We always picked up where we left off and I loved that about her. She will truly be missed by everyone. Always rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Kamal was my very good friend. I always remember her laughing and smiling at all times. Always someone who was there for you, someone you could trust and rely on. It is very difficult to imagine we will never be able to spend time and laugh together. I will always remember her and she will live on in all of our memories. I know one day we will meet again my dear friend Kamal. Rest easy my dear, you were a true gem in everyone´s life.
