George, you are sadly gone, but not forgotten. One afternoon my Grand daughter Miranda and I walked out of the Post Office and you told her she was a Gift from God. You were so sweet to her, since then when we've gone back she always asks where you are. I used to sit and talk to you and occasionally buy you either some food or something to drink. We had some very nice talks. You will be forever missed.

George looked out for me many a night as I worked the graveyard shift at One Stop at the corner of 5th and J street in Marysville, such a nice, helpful man. I will forever remember him. Sending my Thanks and Gratitude...RIP."CrazyGeorge"

George was our self appointed guardian angel outside the Post Office. He stationed himself out there about nine years ago when a lady was hit by a car out in that intersection. He didn't want anyone else to get hurt out there. He also brought me a flower almost every day that he would find on his trip to the Post Office cleaning up trash along the way. I am blessed to have called him my friend. I will miss you George.

Dear George,
I'm going to miss you like crazy. Seeing you always put a smile on my face, and I loved your chats. Marysville will not be the same without you. May God keep you in the company of angels. Rest In Peace my fiend.

My dear friend George,
I miss you. I miss our conversations at the post office most. Thank you for praying with me that day with another dad who'd lost his son to cancer. If everyone slowed down enough to give you more than a passing glance, they'd have been blessed with your kindness and spiritual love. Everytime I'm driving down D Street or by the post office, I slow down....just thinking of you. God bless you and keeep you. George, please help keep the residents safe, especially us drivers!!!
Fondly,
Lindsay Erickson

George visited me often when I worked at the One Stop, at the foot of the 5th St bridge. He was just a nice, nice man. Have thought of him fondly many times over the years, and I will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace, my friend.
